BREATHE: The Box Breath
Choose a NUMBER that feels good to you (ex: 4). Imagine tracing up one side of a square as you count to that number as you INHALE. HOLD for that number as you trace across the top of the square—feel your breath full in your lungs. EXHALE as you count and trace down the other side. Finally, HOLD on empty as you close the square. Repeat this as many times as you want. HOW DO YOU FEEL?
Remember that perfect doesn't exist. Trust that you're doing it right.
TIP: To keep you focused and add a little fun to your Box Breath practice, play a song you love that has a beat you can breathe to.
